Going “Dulang” For Ramadan 2022 at Ponderosa Golf & Country Club | The month of fasting for the Muslims starts on 3 April 2022 and due to previous years’ popularity Ponderosa once again offers Break Fast in Dulang Sets, for both dine-in and takeaway until 8 May 2022.
“Serving food in a dulang is popular as it is a resurgence of an age-old ‘kampung’ tradition of
communal eating of togetherness,” said Tan Kai Yang, general manager of Ponderosa Golf & Country Resort. “However, we are still cautious and each dulang portion is sufficient for 6
persons and for dine-in to be seated at a table.”
Themed as Citarasa Serantau, it will be a journey of taste featuring Johorean Malay, Indian to
Chinese selections in a Dulang with two variations – the DULANG MUHIBBAH and DULANG BIRYANI – at two pricings which are RM 198+ per dulang/table of 6 persons for DINE-IN at Café
or RM128+ per Dulang for 6 persons for TAKEAWAY with a delivery charge of RM5 within
10km radius.

Each Dulang set offers a choice of either 3 main courses. For Dulang Muhibbah, it is either
ASSAM PEDAS, DAGING SALAI or AYAM PERCIK, all accompanied with Plain Rice, Loh Han Chai (Chinese Mixed Vegetables), Omelette, Salted Fish and Salted Egg. The Dulang Biryani on the
other hand will feature either choice of DAGING RENDANG TOK, KAMBING KURMA or KARI AYAM all accompanied with Biryani Rice, Vegetable Dalca, Acar Rampai, Papadum and Egg
Curry.
Dining in at Café will have LIVE STALLS serving Drinks, Salad, Satay, Otak-Otak, Bubur Lambuk
and Dessert together with the Dulang Sets, while take away of the Dulang Sets will have add ons of Malay Kueh and Mixed Fruits.
