DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru’s all-day dining restaurant, Makan Kitchen, presents a break fast themed buffet dinner that celebrates the best of Malaysian cuisine. This buffet dinner is part of the nationwide ‘Jelajah Selera Bersama Hilton’ campaign by Hilton hotels in Malaysia. Inspired by Malaysia’s unique cultural tapestry and culinary heritage, this year’s theme calls for all foodies to explore the iconic flavours of Malaysia and beyond. Malaysia stands out as the centre of diversity in Asia, Jelajah Selera Bersama Hilton is a testament to that.

The buffet spread will feature an array of classic Malaysian Favourites with a modern twist such as Assam Pedas OxTail, Lemang Wagyu Beef Rendang, and Lobster Thermidor dished out right in front of guests at a live cooking station. Guests can also savour grilled delicacies at a Bakar-Bakar station offering local specialties such as Otak-Otak, Satay, and grilled Cencaru, Keli, Tilapia, and many more. The extensive buffet menu also covers oriental favourites such as Peking Duck, Assorted Dim Sum, and a Chinese Soup Station.
After a sumptuous meal, guests can indulge their sweet tooth in an assortment of desserts such as Baklava & Turkish Delight, Durian Cake, Ice Cream with Ais Batu Campur, and Cendol Pulut Tapai.
Makan Kitchen also offers Feast at Home takeaway sets for diners who prefer to break fast at home. Specially curated by our chefs, guests can now taste their way through Malaysia’s food heritage in the comfort of their home. Highlights of the main course in the takeaway set includes Wagyu Beef Rendang Tok, Sotong Sumbat Percik Sauce, Patin Lemak Tempoyak, Pajeri Nenas, Nasi Bakar Daun Pisang and many more.
The Ramadan buffet at Makan Kitchen runs from 3 April – 2 May 2022 and starts at 6.30pm –
10.00pm. The buffet is priced at RM188 nett per adult and RM94.00 nett per child. Guests can also enjoy early bird deals by purchasing the early bird vouchers from 24 February – 17 March 2022. The early bird vouchers are priced at RM 160.00 nett per adult and RM 80.00 nett per child. Prior reservations are required. Guests who prefer dining at home can now order our Jelajah Selera Feast @ Home takeaway set at a price of RM499++ that serves six to eight people. Partner credit card holders and Hilton Honors members will enjoy 10% off their bill respectively.
For group bookings and events, companies can opt for the Feast Banquet priced at RM 120.00++ per person with a minimum of 100 persons.
Makan Kitchen is also offering Ramadan Gift Hampers to send well wishes to loved ones this
Ramadan and Hari Raya. Each gift hamper consists of eight signature sambals, each with its own distinct flavour as well as level of spiciness from various Malaysian states such as Sambal Kacang Tempeh from Johor, Sambal Paru from Melaka, Sambal Udang Kering from Terengganu, Sambal Berdengung from Negeri Sembilan and many more.
