HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

1. Visit www.buttercup.com.my and sign up to become a Buttercup member.
2. Capture the image of your pasta food creation that must reflect the theme of “Bekal Kasih Sayang Ibu”
3. Upload the image to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and type your Buttercup username with the following hash tags #kckbuttercuppasta on the caption. For example, lilyzaman #kckbuttercuppasta

RULES

Deadline
-Judging will take place soon after the deadline of midnight, Saturday, May 31, 2014.
-Winners will be notified through Facebook and E-mail.
-Each individual may only submit 1 image.
Hash tags
-Image must be entered via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and type your Buttercup username with the following hash tags #kckbuttercuppasta on the caption.
-Any image uploaded without the Buttercup username and hash tag on the caption will be disqualified.
-All pasta food creation must be original from the participant. Copied Image and Plagiarism will be disqualified.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility & Online Submission of Entry Period

1. Auric Pacific (M) Sdn Bhd (“APM”) is proud to present “Bekal Kasih Sayang Ibu Challenge” (“Challenge”). The Challenge period commences on 1 May 2014 to 31 May 2014 (“Online Submission of Entry Period”).
2. Participant must first become a member of Buttercup by registering at www.buttercup.com.my (“Website”) in order to qualify for this challenge. This is however not applicable to participants who are already a member of Buttercup.
3. Challenge is open to all citizens of Malaysia
4. Challenge may only be entered in or from Malaysia and image originating from any other countries are not eligible for entry.
5. Participation opens only to citizens or persons holding permanent resident status of Malaysia who have reached the age of 18 as of date of entry. The participant must be the person who prepares the food in the image. Each participant is only eligible to post one image only.
6. Employees, immediate families (parents, children, siblings, and spouse), affiliates and partners of APM are not eligible to participate in the Challenge.
7. Agreement to the terms and conditions of the Data Protection and Privacy Protection Notice forms part of the terms and conditions of this Challenge.

Rules & Regulations

1. If the participant is not person who prepares the food, APM presume that the food is originally prepared by the participant. In the event the food is found to be copied or plagiarised, APM will disqualify the Entry and will remove it from the Website.
2. Participants may submit only one entry upon becoming a member of Buttercup.
3. Image submitted must be in colour.

Bekal Kasih Sayang Ibu
Recipe: Pasta Bolognese

Ingredients 1
Boil 1 packet of pasta al dente with water, add 1 tsp of Buttercup and ½ tsp of salt.

Ingredients 2
2 tbsp of Buttercup
1 onion (diced)
100g carrot (diced)
100g button mushroom (sliced)
250g minced beef
1 cup of tomato puree
½ tsp of Oregano powder
½ tsp of Basil powder
Chinese parsley
Enough salt, sugar and ground black pepper

Steps
1. Drain boiled pasta and set aside.
2. Saute onion in pan with melted Buttercup, until soft and fragrant. Add diced vegetables.
3. Put in tomato puree followed by minced beef. Stir for a while.
4. Add in the herbs and seasonings. Wait until vegetables soften and minced beef is cooked.
5. When cooked, pour the sauce on top of pasta.
6. Add parmesan cheese if you want to add flavor.
